The Rhythm & Human Form लय और मानव आकृति

With the advent of social media we are flooded with the heap of visuals and variety of creative poses. All the time either  innovative or shocking visuals grabs our eyeballs and ultimately resulting into visual fatigue. 

आज सोशल मीडिया के दौर में 

हम दृश्य-समुद्र में डूबे रहते हैं —

रचनात्मक मुद्राओं की बाढ़,

कभी चौंकाने वाली, कभी नयी खोज।

हर पल कुछ अलग दिखाने की होड़,

जो आँखों को तो रोक लेती है,

पर अंततः छोड़ जाती है 

एक दृश्य थकान, एक मानसिक बोझ।

But whenever I watch paintings or  sculptures from the masters  of medical or ancient Bharat a sense of calm enters into my mind. My gaze travels across the artwork in a rhythm that they have found in nature and poured it into their artwork.

लेकिन जब मैं देखता हूँ

प्राचीन भारत के चित्र या शिल्प गुरुओं की बनाई

कोई मूर्ति या चित्र 

तो भीतर एक शांति की लहर दौड़ जाती है।

It’s so much connected to nature that I feel like watching a tree, ocean waves or ripples on the water. The subtlety of the pose, meditative mood ; the human form is completely in sync with the nature.

मेरी दृष्टि उस कला के साथ

एक लय में बहती है 

जैसे किसी पेड़ की छाया,

सागर की लहरें, या जल पर उठती तरंगें।

उनकी मुद्रा में गहराई है,

ध्यान-सा भाव है,

मानव आकृति जैसे प्रकृति से तादात्म्य साधे हो।

The aesthetic created by them are outcome of centuries of experience of observing the best, fittest human specimen giving it a timelessness value. Here our ode to those masters through our cocreation. 

यह सौंदर्य ऐसे कलाकारों की देन है

जिन्होंने सदियों तक

श्रेष्ठ, स्वस्थ शरीर को देखा, समझा,

और उसे समयातीत रूप में ढाल दिया।

यह हमारी साझा अभिव्यक्ति है,

उन महान गुरुओं को

एक विनम्र नमन।
