We are often told to weed out sexual thoughts or desires. It’s considered the root cause of the downfall of any human being. And by doing so, we unnaturally move far away from our own nature one that itself sprang from the desire and union of our mother and father.

Distorted teachings pull us away from the beautiful experience of life, an experience we can never fully enjoy without guilt when desire is demonised.

Kāma, as the third पुरुषार्थ ( Puruṣārtha ) is a strong pillar of society, yet it is mistaken as lust. When pushed into secrecy, it deranges us silently and creates a crippled, damaged society. Kāma is the original expression from Bindu a potent and powerful seed that bursts and creates an entire life ( स्फोट ).

“कामोऽस्मि भरतर्षभ”  “I am Kāma, O best of the Bharatas,” says Krishna.

If the divine itself claims Kāma as its own vibration, how can it be treated as something shameful?

How can it be a sin unless it is stripped of consent and reverence? Attraction and longing arrive like a quiet revolution when the whole world changes its meaning for those two. Everything suddenly appears as the grace of Mother Nature. The same light, sound, smell, and touch acquire new meanings. This shift happens when effort melts into surrender, when separation loosens and life tastes itself anew.

“यत्र नास्ति भेदबुद्धिः स एव परमो रसः”

“Where the sense of separation ceases, there alone flows the supreme rasa.”

ree

Kāma then is not indulgence, but rasa the sacred taste of existence.

And this happens when we surrender to the celebration of life when Kamini stands before us. She is not a particular woman; she resides in every man as a calling. A man who surrenders to her celebrates her. A man becomes Puruṣa not by domination, but by holding the ground gently so she can dance and prepare for the act of creation through their union. The dance of Lāsya, the rhythm of creation, holds meaning as profound as Tāṇḍava, the dance of dissolution.

“शिवः शक्त्या युक्तो यदि भवति शक्तः प्रभवितुम्”

“Śiva becomes capable of creation only when united with Śakti.”

Without Kamini, Puruṣa पुरुष ( masculine ) remains incomplete.

Birth and death arise from the same Bindu, playing their roles for a while. So do the states of ecstasy that feel eternal moments when we are transported into another portal while being powerfully united.

Time collapses there, not as imagination but as lived reality, where two bodies step out of chronology and enter rhythm. If one truly wishes to experience bliss, one must be ready to create a garden for her through thoughts that honour her, actions that protect her, and a presence that listens.

She does not bloom under force or expectation; she flowers only where reverence exists. Kamini is not meant for service to you, nor for the fulfilment of hunger. She serves something far greater the continuity of creation. She is the vessel through which the seed is not merely placed, but received, nourished, and transformed. Like Mother Earth that holds a single seed and grows a vast tree, she carries the intelligence to manifest life.

ree

“यथा बीजं तथा अंकुरः”

“As the seed, so the sprout.”

Yet without fertile ground, even the purest seed remains dormant.

She is the ground that holds nourishment for a soul to rest before it enters this world. Through her secret portal, the physical and the subtle worlds meet matter welcomes consciousness, and consciousness consents to become flesh.

ree

Seen this way, Kāma is not merely sensory pleasure; it is a sacred ritual that opens the doorway to infinite possibilities. This is why celebrating her is essential for a true Puruṣa. Through her, Śṛṣṭi unfolds as Prakṛti original, intelligent nature.

ree

It becomes a playground where Ātman meets Ātman, where undivided unity is remembered, even if only for a brief moment. No substance, no escape, no external support only presence and surrender. This is perhaps the easiest path to truth, and also the hardest way for a man to truly become one.

ree

The secret of the world has always been accessible through ज्ञान  (knowledge), भक्ती (surrender / devotion ), or ध्यान (meditation). Yet most seek it while holding onto ego. Few dare to surrender at her altar and allow that ego to be slain. That symbolic death opens a new frontier awakening into bliss.

Kāma is not only a physical experience; it is a transformation from the physical to the metaphysical. The division between gross and subtle exists only for the intellect. For the devotee, everything is pure, everything sacred, because everything pulses with Chaitanya.

ree

And through the union she awakens us because the secrets of creation are encoded in her form. Reverence to her is a sacred duty not by conquering, but by surrendering. In that surrender, Kamini does not bind us; she liberates us. She is not a distraction from the path she is the path. And through her, eternity briefly opens its door.
